Resident Advisor (Full Time and Part Time)

Bridge House / Grace House is seeking Resident Advisors to serve as support staff for our Men’s and Women’s substance abuse treatment programs. Must have a schedule that would allow working flexible hours; shifts may include evenings, weekends, holidays and overnight hours. The RAs supervise the residents under the direction of the House Coordinator and Clinical Director. Must be able to deal tactfully with the public, co-workers and residents. Ability to exercise good judgment in evaluating situations and making decisions is important. Written and verbal communication skills, computer skills and crisis intervention skills are needed. An understanding of addiction and compassion for those in the recovery process is highly desired. Pre-employment background check and drug test will be performed.

Counselor (8:30am to 5:00pm)

Bridge House (Men’s Program) is seeking a Full Time Master-Level PLPC, LPC, LMSW, or LCSW to join our team who will provide therapy in a residential addiction treatment facility to people dealing with addiction, mental & physical health issues. Responsibilities include psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, timely documentation, individual & group therapy. Experience with addiction treatment work and ASI training a plus. Must have excellent organizational and communication skills. Familiarity with social service providers in the Greater New Orleans area is a plus. A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work or related Mental Health field and Substance Abuse experience is required. Must be licensed or pursuing license in the state of Louisiana. Pre-employment background check and drug test will be completed.

LPN (Daytime and Evening Shifts)

Bridge House / Grace House is seeking LPNs to work at our Women’s programs supporting our Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) program. Must be licensed in the state of Louisiana. Pre-employment background check and drug test will be completed upon hire. This position will provide the following services:

  • Initial medical assessments and MAT authorizations
  • Coordinate and collaborate with MAT prescribers and partnering agencies
  • Monitoring of medication and lab work
  • Ensure that all TB and HIV testing is completed on each admission and complies with all reporting requirements
  • Oversee medication and administration records
  • General support related to MAT services
