Sober Fest

A one day, alcohol free, music festival – SOBER FEST
is Bridge House / Grace House’s newest event!

Sober Fest Returns November 2023

Music has always been at the heart of New Orleans, but for people in recovery, music-oriented events can often be places where they feel challenged or excluded. We believe that building community and having fun is an important part of recovery, and Bridge House / Grace House is proud to host an alcohol-free music festival where everyone can come together to enjoy amazing artists and have a really great time in a sober-supportive environment.

Brand new and one of a kind, Bridge House / Grace House hosted SOBER FEST – New Orleans’ first alcohol-free music festival – on November 12, 2022. Attendees enjoyed live performances by local artists Cha Wa, the Trombone Shorty Academy, Camile Baudoin of the The Radiators, and Dumpstaphunk; delicious food from 11 local vendors; and a wide variety of non-alcoholic beverage options! Bridge House / Grace House’s Sober Fest aims to raise awareness that recovery is possible and fun in recovery is achievable; while also benefiting our NO-COST, long-term residential substance use disorder treatment programs. Founded on the principle that no one can attain and maintain sobriety without having their basic needs met, Bridge House / Grace House treats predominantly homeless, indigent, uninsured and/or unemployed men and women. In 2022, we treated 792 individuals.
