5/25 Dedication Ceremony for the Richard M. “Buzzy” Gaiennie Building
Dedication Ceremony for the Richard M. “Buzzy” Gaiennie Building On Friday, May 25, 2012 at 3:00PM, Bridge House / Grace House will dedicate and name the building at 4150 Earhart Boulevard (New Orleans) in honor and memory of Richard M. “Buzzy” Gaiennie. Buzzy Gaiennie was the CEO of Bridge House / Grace House until his death in August of 2011. He began his career at Bridge House in 1984 and helped secure the merger of Bridge House / Grace House in 2006. His efforts were a driving and pioneering force for substance abuse treatment for homeless and indigent men and women in this community. The building at 4150 Earhart Blvd. was the culmination of a dream of Buzzy Gaiennie to have a permanent home for Bridge House residents. The dedication and the naming of the building will be hosted by master of ceremonies Jerry Romig with the blessing and dedication done by Rev. Louis Arceneaux. The Voices of Thunder will entertain.
