Bridge House / Grace House is unique in our approach to treating individuals with substance use disorder. Most of our residents have lost everything due to their addiction. Our services are offered to those who do not have the resources for private treatment: the homeless, indigent, uninsured, underinsured, and/or unemployed. By offering high-quality, long-term treatment to those in our community who need it most, regardless of their ability to pay, we are able to transform hundreds of lives each year. Consider donating today and help us to continue transforming and saving lives.
By donating to and shopping in our Thrift Stores, not only are you helping to fund our programs, but you are also helping our residents in their treatment. Vocational Rehabilitation sets us apart from other treatment centers. Our residents are assigned jobs within Bridge House / Grace House, including in the Thrift Stores and Warehouse. This allows the residents to feel like part of the solution and helps them feel a sense of responsibility, self-confidence, and worth that many had not felt in a long time. This is an integral part of our therapeutic model because it allows residents to learn how to deal with stressors of daily life and a having a job without using drugs or alcohol. Donations accepted at both stores or schedule a pickup.
Our Used Car Lot accepts makes and models of cars and trucks from all over the Greater New Orleans area and beyond. We inspect all vehicles and perform any repair work that is needed. The vehicles are then put on the Used Car Lot for sale to the public, with no middle-men involved. All funds go directly to Bridge House / Grace House. You can drop off to the lot or schedule a tow truck to come pick up. We will try to maximize the tax deduction you receive. However, you will receive at least a $500 tax deduction even if you donate a car in poor condition. It’s an easy way to help the community. Instead of paying big repair bills, donate your vehicle to Bridge House / Grace House’s Used Car Lot.
